Dr. Harding grew up in a small town south of Richmond, Virginia and earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management- Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology with minors in Biology and German and a pre-dental concentration from Virginia Tech. Dr. Harding was offered the Navy Health Professions Scholarship and embarked upon her dental education at the Medical University of South Carolina- College of Dental Medicine in Charleston, SC. In her third year of dental school, Dr. Harding was selected to train in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Harding then completed her Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the prestigious Baylor University Medical Center/Texas A&M Health Sciences Center in Dallas, Texas. There she learned from and operated with many of the most influential Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in the country and was able to publish journal articles and a chapter in one of the cornerstone textbooks of our specialty.
Upon graduation from residency, Dr. Harding was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman CVN 75 where she deployed to the Mediterranean and the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
After a successful tour and deployment on board the USS Harry S. Truman, Dr. Harding was stationed in Virginia at Sewell’s Point Branch Dental Clinic and Portsmouth Naval Hospital. In an attempt to “join the Navy, see the world,” Dr. Harding excitedly accepted follow on orders to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and served the remainder of her service with 1st Dental Battalion and Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton treating Marines and Sailors and helping them to be ready at a moment’s notice. After 12 years of service, Dr. Harding was honorably discharged from the United States Navy.
Dr. Harding enjoys tending to her avocado and coffee farm and chasing after her two young sons along with her husband. She is excited to continue her passion in treating patients who become friends and family.
